Supporting Local Musicians

It’s not often that you can point to somebody who is responsible for a deeply positive development in one’s life. Greg did that for me.
After a long break from performing, and having my debilitating stage fright come back in force, I checked out Greg’s open mic. At first, I hung around playing pool and listening to the music, building up determination to get back on stage, and this time, by myself with my guitar—the situation that strangled me with nerves.
Greg sensed what I was up to without me saying a word to him about it. He asked if I played, and he gently coaxed me to bring my guitar and get up there.
When I did, he was super supportive, and in that user-friendly atmosphere that he created, I got back to performing, and now I play regularly and it brings me deep happiness. Greg was deeply instrumental in that happening.
I know several people who can say the same thing about Greg. — Roland Doucet
